CBIP Membership

Such Institutions, Govt. Departments, Public Bodies or Corporations/Companies who have been, in the opinion of the Executive Committee, engaged in the development and management of water resources and energy sectors or so engaged in the business or work connected with the construction and O&M of dam; thermal; hydro; nuclear; transmission; substation project; or with the manufacture or sale of material used in connection with the development of water resources and power sectors, or the operation thereof, as may be included as Members of the Society by the Executive Committee acting on behalf of the Board.

Membership Fee

Membership fee shall be payable by members, annually. The rates for fee shall be approved by the Board from time to time.

1. A year shall for the purposes of this Rule be from the first day of April until the last day of March following. Subscription shall be due on the first day of April of every year following that date while a organization continues to be a Member of the Board.
2. As per the decision in the Extra ordinary meeting held on 4.9.2002 the Institutional Members viz State Government, State Electricity Board, Private and Public Power Utilities and non Utilities, Department or Ministry of the Government of India, Foreign Government or Administrative Unit or autonomous body or Private / public Sector Organization which is represented by a member on the board shall contribute annually to the Board on the following basis unless otherwise agreed to by the board.

A ) MAJOR ORGANISATIONS

1. State Level Organizations connected with Water Resources
   (Irrigation/ Water Resources Department) - Rs. 2.00 Lakh
2. Organizations connected with Power :

The yearly contribution by erstwhile State Electricity Board now reorganized in to different utilities for Generation, Transmission and Distribution will be accordingly shared among them.

B ) SMALL ORGANIZATION / INDIVIDUAL

Any Organisation/individual having interest in the activities of the board may subscribe annually to the Board as detailed below:

  (i). For Category I – Rs. 20,000/-

      •  4 Copies Each of the Following Five Periodicals

             •  Water & Energy International (Quarterly)

             •  Far & Near in Water & Energy (Quarterly)

             •  Water & Energy Abstract (Quarterly)

             •  Water & Energy Research Digest (Three Time in a Year)

             •  CBIP Newsletter (quarterly)

  (ii) For Category II – Rs. 10,000/-

        2 Copies Each of the Following Five Periodicals

             •  Water & Energy International (Quarterly)

             •  Far & Near in Water & Energy (Quarterly)

             •  Water & Energy Abstract (Quarterly)

             •  Water & Energy Research Digest (Three Time in a Year)

             •  CBIP Newsletter (quarterly)

  (iii) Category III – Rs. 5,000/-

        1 Copies Each of the Following Five Periodicals

             •  Water & Energy International (Quarterly)

             •  Far & Near in Water & Energy (Quarterly)

             •  Water & Energy Abstract (Quarterly)

             •  Water & Energy Research Digest (Three Time in a Year)

             •  CBIP Newsletter (Quarterly)
