The activities of the ISRM (India) are governed by the Governing Council, the term of which is three years. The Governing Council consists of President, to be elected by the General Assembly, and the Secretary and Director (WR) of the Central Board of Irrigation & Power as the Ex-Officio Member Secretary and Treasurer, respectively, of the Society. The strength of the Governing Council is maximum of 25, including office bearers.
