1) To arrange conferences/workshops/Training Programmes/Regional Meeting on different aspects of dam engineering.

2) Compilation of case studies/histories from different countries on the following topics on the procedures adopted by them for successful execution of dam projects:
a) Rehabilitation & Resettlement
b) Environmental aspects
c) Dam safety aspects
d) RCC Dams
e) Raising of finances for dam projects.

3) To seek membership of INCOLD members in the balance Technical Committees of ICOLD.

4) To involve more organizations/experts in the activities of INCOLD.

5) To organize/conduct workshop and symposia at a regular interval on different aspects of dam engineering.

6) To publish technical literature and to contribute information on different aspects of water resources development and management.

7) To increase institutional and individual membership.
